Good Day Queens Prep Scholars, Parents & Caregivers,

In light of NYC Mayor Deblasio's announcement today to delay the in-person opening for middle schools, high schools (9-12) and secondary schools (6-12) until 10/1/2020, we have changed our orientation schedule for Friday, 9/18/2020.

Tomorrow we will hold a whole school Community Gathering from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. to discuss these changes.  Please note all scholars will begin instruction remotely on Monday 9/21/2020.  It's imperative that you join this session to understand the remote schedule and remote learning expectations.  Parents, I encourage you to join with your children.

We will hold an additional Parent Meeting/Office Hours for ALL (grades 9 through 12) QPA Parents & Caregivers tomorrow from 2- 3 p.m.  Please use the ZOOM Link on your Child's iLearnNYC platform.  Scholars, I ask that you assist your parents with logging on.

Our 12th Grade Town hall will still take place from 12 - 1 PM.  Class of 2021 make sure you are there!

Student Office Hours will take place as scheduled from 1 - 2 PM.  Scholars, this is your opportunity to ask any clarifying questions or get assistance with technology to make sure you are ready to begin school remotely on Monday, 9/21/2020.  Remember School begins Remotely for ALL Students on Monday, September 21,2020.

Thank you.  I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

    Dear QPA Families,

We are happy to introduce to you our new system, Operoo, formerly known as Caremonkey.

No more paper forms in the bottom of backpacks, no more filling in the same information over and over again. Handy email notifications will let you know when there is something for you to read or a form to complete. Automated reminders ensure your child never misses out and much more.

Operoo is an easy way for parents and guardians to communicate with QPA.

Please sign up as soon as possible and save Operoo as a favorite.

Again, look out for a letter directly from Operoo and respond immediately.
